Built in The Village at Washington's Landing, Pittsburgh, this project is a demonstration of a systems approach combined with market-ready technologies applied to a 3,200 square foot, four-story home design. The project emphasizes the benefit to both builder and homeowner for whole-house engineering and an integrated design, construction, and marketing approach. Completely designed and optimized by IBACOS throughout 1996, the home was built in conjunction with regional builder Montgomery & Rust. This national demonstration home was opened to the public in 1997 and sold in 1998, resulting in an enthusiastic, appreciative, and quite comfortable homeowner.
