Building Performance Specialist
Dave's focus is developing better buildings through improved component design and improved installation methods. He is a building performance specialist, and is highly skilled at monitoring and analyzing the performance of components and systems in homes. Prior to IBACOS, Dave worked as the Assistant Director for Ecological Construction Laboratory (e-co lab). He has published with International Passive House Conference Proceedings and in ASHRAE Transactions. Dave has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dave rides his bike to our Strip District office most days, even in winter.
