Construction Defect “Triage” Program
The IBACOS Construction Defect Triage Program is our primary set of risk products and services. These are specifically tailored to get your issue resolved quickly to stop the bleeding:
- Situation Review: The issue is discussed, a statement of work is developed, and a site visit is set to evaluate the problem.
- In-Field Analysis: A building performance expert investigates the issue, collects drawings, scopes of work and other sources of data to conduct forensic destructive testing.
- Site Evaluation Report: Within days, a written evaluation of the situation is delivered, which could include a remediation plan, repair protocol, or reasons why further investigation is necessary.
- Investigation & Testing: Our industry professionals investigate and conduct more testing as part of our expertise. If additional, third-party lab work is needed, that will be contracted.
- Research & Review: IBACOS completes meticulous research on the subject, including standards, proven remedies, manufacturer specifications, expert reports, building codes, and more.
- Summary Report: The report pinpoints the cause and origin of the construction defect and outlines the most cost-effective, safe, durable, and sensible way to correct the problem.
- Remediation: The approved plan is implemented. We remain on the project as our client's expert, to ensure protocol is executed and successful results are delivered.
