Builder Quality Snapshot

This Snapshot provides a benchmark of a production homebuilder's current operations and construction practices, overall strengths and weaknesses, field and office operations, and construction quality. Items of focus include:

• Quality Blueprint: Work with the builder's executive officers and management team to map out their current quality process and needed improvements.
• Office Operations: Evaluate scopes of work, house plans, product development, field staff training, communication and QA/QC policies and procedures as represented in the builder's office.
• Field Operations: Interview builder's site superintendents and evaluate execution of trade scopes of work, house plans, communication, SWPPPs, QA/QC practices and procedures.
• Construction Quality Observations: IBACOS will walk construction sites and use our Quality Check-Up scorecard to evaluate and score the builder's construction practices.

The result is a report detailing an assessment of current construction practices, a look at your best practices, the top five defect issues and solutions, and fundamental recommendations to help you assure quality moving forward.
