In an effort to continue to grow and enhance its product offering, IBACOS has hired Nigel Watts to join its leadership team to help grow PERFORM®, IBACOS’ suite of knowledge systems, tools and training for leading production homebuilders. PERFORM delivers solutions that help builders improve home quality and performance.
“This platform is really resonating with our builder clients, and we want to see it grow,” says Glenn Cottrell, Managing Director of the Builder Solutions team. “Nigel brings a unique blend of creative thinking, product design, and strategic focus, which complements the broad talents of the IBACOS team.” 
Nigel’s rich background of product development, marketing, and management experience will be an asset in the expansion of PERFORM and its ability to deliver solutions that help homebuilders define, simplify, standardize, execute and measure construction quality results in the field.
Nigel is no stranger to IBACOS. Throughout his 1998 – 2009 tenure, Nigel managed the development of programs to drive product innovations with key manufacturers; built an online course development capability from the ground up; and developed a searchable library of 1,200 construction quality best practices. In his most recent position as Senior Product Manager for SAE International, Nigel managed the research, design, and relaunch of the SAE Digital Library and achieved a year-over-year average revenue growth of 20% for $5MM in annual revenue.
“Despite being away from the homebuilding industry for a few years, I never really left,” says Nigel. “This industry is my passion, and I seek to leverage the experience that I gained in the automotive industry to bring meaningful, positive change to our builder clients, homeowners and the industry at large.”
Nigel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Coventry University in the United Kingdom and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
