As client base expands, IBACOS adds to builder solutions team to meet builder clients’ needs
As the production homebuilding industry continues to grow, IBACOS’ Builder Solutions practice is growing as well.
John F. Koenig has joined IBACOS as a Building Performance Specialist for the Builder Solutions team. Based in Pittsburgh, IBACOS plays a leading role in innovation in the housing industry and works with builders, manufacturers, and government agencies to advance the development of new technologies and industry best practices.
Specifically, the Builder Solutions team provides tools and support to enable production homebuilders to consistently improve home quality, performance, and profitability. Through the PERFORM® suite of knowledge, systems, tools and training, IBACOS delivers solutions that help homebuilders define, simplify, standardize, execute and measure construction quality results in the field.
In his role with the Builder Solutions team, Koenig will conduct Construction Quality Assessments (CQAs) for IBACOS’ production homebuilder clients. As such, he will observe active construction on jobsites in order to provide clients with an overall performance “score” of their field teams’ ability to consistently execute quality construction Best Practices®.
Koenig brings to IBACOS 25 years of experience in design and construction-related fields. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to serve as a licensed general contractor, a field product manager, a product design coordinator, and a project manager for a variety of companies in the residential and commercial building sector.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University School of Design.
