As International program advances, International team expands.
Anastasia Herk, a project manager with IBACOS since 2011, has transitioned to the International team as Program Manager, International Operations. IBACOS is currently engaged in a multi-year, regional marketing initiative in Saudi Arabia that intends to bring global innovation to the local market toward achieving sustainable economic growth, and Herk will manage the operational aspects of that initiative for IBACOS, its client and related partners.
In this position, Herk will serve as the key Pittsburgh coordinator, helping to ensure quality, consistency, and structure for the International team. She will play an active role in reporting and process improvement; assisting with efficiency and optimization of meetings, trainings and reports for the team; as well as management and alignment of various tools and resources.
During her tenure with IBACOS, Herk has worked with builders to help them implement high performance building standards, including DOE’s Challenge Home. She has also worked on deep energy retrofit projects with NYSERDA, and was part of the collaborative team that helped Brookfield Homes in Denver, CO build the first certified Passive House in the state. Prior to joining IBACOS, Anastasia worked at Astorino on many LEED projects, including Consol Energy Center (LEED gold) and Bakery Square (LEED platinum).
She has a Master’s degree in Architecture from Kent State University and maintains her LEED AP and Associate AIA certifications.
