The Time is Now: Advances in Small Ducts and Comfort
Andrew Poerschke

Small-duct systems have had a bad rap for some time, but that seems about to change. As homes perform better, traditional ducted HVAC systems are no longer a surefire choice for providing comfort and efficiency. Small ducts offer builders potential solutions to many of those performance issues, and the options available are likely to expand. During this session, we examined some of the latest on our ongoing research in small-duct systems, including a small manifold system, how one production builder is looking at small ducts as a solution for high performance townhomes, and how we see small-duct systems evolving to meet industry needs.
