Mark Tilley As the President of IBACOS, Mark oversees the business and commercial development of the company. In addition, he oversees strategic planning initiatives and manages the integration of all company initiatives. He also directs a leadership team on all areas of the company—research and development, delivery of knowledge and services, marketing, and finance—to ensure the company’s efforts are integrated and focused on strategic plan goals. Along with members of the leadership team, Mark has been developing quality approaches to residential construction and managing programs for builders. Prior to his current position, Mark directed the marketing and business development activities of General Electric’s Plastics Division within the residential construction markets of both Europe and the U.S. This involved product and market development alliances with leading construction component manufacturers around the world. He had joined General Electric in 1980 as an industrial designer in Europe, and was later promoted to lead a U.S. design and engineering services group. He became the director of the U.S. building and construction-marketing group before returning to Europe to take on a similar role with expanded international market responsibilities. Mark is a native of Cambridge, England and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Industrial Design from Manchester University.
