John Broniek
As Sr. Building Performance Specialist, John is responsible for advanced research and modeling related to activities in whole house and prototype home research. This work involved conducting energy consumption, performance and moisture analysis of building systems that leads to the development of integrated design and engineering guidelines. He also supports the managing of builder programs, partnerships, and educational initiatives. In addition, he communicates research results to IBACOS clients and the market through industry presentations and publications.
Prior to moving to the U.S., John spent eight years administering the R-2000 Home Program in Canada. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.
